Why we built VIN Doc

Vehicle history belongs in your stack, not behind a form

Everything known about a car, mileage, accidents, write-offs, theft flags, imports, already exists, but it's scattered across hundreds of registries, garages and databases in different countries and formats. For any business handling volume, retyping VINs into a portal was never going to scale. So we built VIN Doc API-first: one endpoint that aggregates all of it, deduplicates and normalises it into a single typed schema, and returns JSON your services can act on. Look up one vehicle or batch fifty thousand, the contract is the same. The mission is simple: make the full history of any car reachable programmatically, in seconds.
